I wish you all a very Happy New Year and look forward to your continued support in 2011. Remember, Christee-Lee Cakes for that special celebration, or just because they’re yummy! Happy New Year!! :)

Some of this year’s favourite cakes……

A week of cakes :)

This has been a very busy week with two Christmas Cakes, a birthday cake and multiple mini Christmas cakes made. The mini cakes are all fruit cake with white chocolate pieces, made for my work mates. I will post of pic of these later.  A white chocolate mud cake with white chocolate ganache and dark chocolate ganache decorations for the birthday cake and two white chocolate mud cakes decorated as a gift and my personal favourite, Santa stuck in the chimney! I’ve always loved singing that “Santa got stuck in the chimney” song with my boys and love this cake just as much. So it has been busy but also fun! I hope that everyone enjoys their cakes and has a wonderful Christmas! :)

Christmas Cupcakes

Christmas Cuppie Gifts It’s Christmas time and the Christmas cards with candy cane gifts started rolling in from all the little ones at pre-school.  A great little gift for the little ones. My son decided he would like to give every child in his pre-school class a cupcake for Christmas.  He obviously shares his mother’s love of cakes ;) Read the rest of this entry »

First Christmas Cake

Christmas Cake 1 I completed my first Christmas Cake for the year yesterday.  I was asked to make a Christmas Cake for the Mudgee View Club Singers.  As they wanted to get away from the traditional fruit cake, they decided on white chocolate mud with white chocolate ganache. I hand modelled the little penguin and decided to go a little different with the ganache application, this time going for the rough look to provide the look of snow.  I finished it off with “Merry Christmas” ribbon, a present topper and of course the little penguin.  I hope you enjoyed your Christmas celebration ladies!

Mudgee Anglican Church Markets

Unfortunately, I will not be attending the Mudgee Anglican Church Markets this morning due to the wet weather.  Orders and enquiries can still be made via the contact page on this website.  I hope to attend the markets again in two weeks time, hopefully the weather will be on my side. :)
