Here is Steph’s 21st Birthday Cake. Top tier is white chocolate mud, bottom tier is chocolate mud. Both are covered in ganache. Top tier is covered in white fondant with hand painted leopard print. Bottom tier is an awesome pinky/purple – possibly even fushia coloured zebra print. I topped this cake with a wooden 21 and S for Stephanie that I had spray painted gold and added some black bling to. To finish it off, I added a black feather decoration.

My family had a gathering this weekend in order to celebrate having five generations together and photograph such a memorable occasion. We also incorporated my brother’s 30th and niece’s 21st both of which will occur over the next two weeks. Of course I made a cake for each of them
My brother is a bit of a fitness freak so thought that something to do with weight lifting was the go for his cake. I went with a square white chocolate and raspberry swirl cake covered with white chocolate ganache and white fondant. I decorated the cake with blue and black stars and 30’s. The cake topper was hand modelled (I’m still learning to model people so he is a little dodgy hehe) replica of my brother (including receding hairline lol) checking out his muscles and a couple of hand weights.

For Mother’s Day this year I decided to make my beautiful mum a bouquet of cake pops. I tried a couple of new ones that I not tried as cake pops before but love in a cup cake, red velvet and cream cheese and coffee!
I covered the red velvet and cream cheese ones with white chocolate and the coffee ones with dark chocolate. What combinations, both delish!
I wanted to try something a little different with these ones and piped pink chocolate on them. I quite liked the result. Even had enough to give a bunch to my sister and two very deserving friends! Sharing the love on Mother’s Day!
